Major Overview

The Worship Ministry major provides the foundation for those students who are interested in worship leadership. The major is composed of 30 semester hours of worship-related courses. This major will qualify a student to pursue a variety of degrees in the graduate program, including the Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Worship Ministry.

*Program Note: Music Fundamentals 1 and Worship Ensemble Leadership are available at distance through NOLA2U-LIVE, but students must attend class meetings online  synchronously at the scheduled class time.

** Program Note: Song Writing for the Church is only available in a bi-annual intensive in New Orleans. Students will be required to attend the two-day intensive for course credit.

*** Program Note: Music Fundamentals 2 and ensembles are only available at the New Orleans campus.
