Home Schooling

The Christian Home Educators Support System (CHESS) is an organization of home-school families within the NOBTS and Leavell College community. New Orleans Seminary provides an on-campus facility for meetings, student activities, educational resources, and student testing. The Homeschool Coordinator oversees the co-op program and provides relevant information to parents. The Homeschool Coordinator facilitates activities such as workshops for the parent-teachers, a reading incentive program, field trips, a physical education program, a project fair, a Christmas musical, holiday parties, Stanford Achievement Testing, and an end-of-the-year recognition night.
