Bachelor of Arts - BA+MDiv Track
Directed by Dr. Charlie Ray III
Track Overview
Leavell College students completing any major besides Christian Studies or Music can work toward advanced standing in the NOBTS Master of Divinity degree through the BA+MDiv Track. This specialized track allows Leavell College students to take 21 hours at the graduate level while still enrolled at Leavell College. These graduate hours will be counted down to Leavell College in lieu of an undergraduate Minor and 6 elective hours. Students will complete the standard Leavell College General Education Core, Christian Foundation Core, a Major of their choice, the BA+MDiv Track, and 9 hours of free electives. Students pursuing the BA+MDiv are required to be advised through the Registrar’s Office Student Success team until they complete their Leavell College degree.

OVERVIEW
Benefits
The Accelerated BA + MDiv Program is a great opportunity for students to save money in two ways:
1. The MDiv Track allows students to begin taking graduate courses while they are completing their undergraduate degree and count those courses toward their Leavell College degree.
2. Completing the degrees at an accelerated pace will enable the student to begin full-time ministry faster without compromising academic qualifications.
Students pursuing the MDiv track must complete the following phases of admission:
Introduction Phase (0-60 Hours):
Students should work to complete their General Education Core and Christian Foundation Core and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Students who desire to complete both degrees in 5 years should register for 15-18 hours per semester.
BA+MDiv (Upon completion of 60 credit hours):
Students will apply for the MDiv program in order to begin enrollment in graduate-level courses required for the MDiv Track. Students must achieve a minimum 3.0 GPA in order to be accepted into the BA+MDiv program. At this stage, students may register for graduate courses that satisfy the core component hours of the MDiv Track while continuing to enroll in undergraduate courses to satisfy the remainder of their Leavell College requirements.
Masters Phase:
Upon completion of their Leavell College degree, students should contact the Accelerated Program office to inquire about receiving graduate credit through the Accelerated Masters program.
For more information about the Accelerated BA + MDiv, call 1-800-NOBTS-01 ext. 8073, email accelerated@nobts.edu, or visit the program's website at www.nobts.edu/ba-mdiv.
